Alexander Robert Bousquet's father Leopold, was born in 1814 in Claux, on the town of La Bastide de Sérou (Ariege), an ancient family of noblemen glass-owned since the sixteenth century, the reformed religion . He was himself to glass-Pointis Mercenac in Couserans (Ariege), where he owned a house for the winter season. He lived the summer Comavère, common Gabre (Ariege). We do not know when or why he interrupted his job for expatriate glass riddled with debts, in the Hautes-Pyrenees. He died in 1882 at Bizanos. He married Catherine Boubila a Ariege, who gave him 7 children living, all born in the glass of points: Hortense Clara, Leopold, Eliza, Anna, Frederick, Aspasia and Gustave.

Léopold-Robert Bousquet is born in Pointe in 1846. Everything suggests that he learned to blow glass in the glass of Robert, who was active until 1883. Mobilized for the Franco-Prussian war of 1870, the army is commanded by General Bourbaki, he made the famous retreat across the snow in the Jura, which ended with the detention in Switzerland. Oral tradition would have it subsequently dismissed from the Public Education by the Government of the Moral Order, but his military record is that it was in 1876 "worker-glass" in Toulouse. Between 1879 and 1888, he was a glassblower to Moussans glassworks in the Hérault. Without doubt the campaigns are too short do not they allow him to achieve comfort, since, by a letter of 1880, he asked, in vain elsewhere, some financial assistance to his father Alexander. Then, these glass have ceased their activity, Leopold definitely entered public education, public school teacher for the small rural school False near Lézer, common Comrade (Ariege), not far from Couserans. He lived until his death in 1924 at the rectory of Comrade. He is buried with his wife disappeared in 1927, the Protestant cemetery in the hamlet.

Married in 1878 with Mary Verge, a Ariege, he had 6 children still living, all born in Comrade Emile, Helena, Henrietta, Emilienne, Gabrielle and Gustav. Four of them were public school teachers. Born in 1883, his daughter Helen, a schoolteacher in the Loire, in 1905 married Pierre Begon and had 4 children herself, the eldest Begon George was the father of Michel Begon, the signatory of this text.

I am the great grand-son of Léopold-Robert Bousquet and heir of an old glass house in Magnou, common Gabre, located 200 meters from the family home of my great-grandfather Robert Alexander. These are the very places where the idea of the Awakened was first proposed and debated in the years 1960 and 1970.
